Tiana Bartholomew

Tiana Bartholomew
Has been dancing at the Dancespace since she was three years old!

She always wanted to be a ballerina growing up and has proven herself in the many leading roles she has had throughout her dance career. From Clara in the Nutcracker to Cinderella, she has been passionate in sharing her dancing abilities. Tiana successfully completed her Royal Academy of Dance examinations, encompassing 12 dedicated years of practicing and perfecting her skills from pre-primary all the way through Higher Grade 8. She has been a valued member of In Spiritus I and then In Spiritus II. Moving forward, she completed her Intermediate Foundation Vocational Examinations and was the 2010, 2011, and 2013 scholarship winner for receiving either a distinction or receiving the highest score on her examinations. At the invitation of Mrs. Kocjan, Tiana has displayed her considerable talent for several years as guest choreographer for In Spiritus. Her dynamic and innovative works have been shown in our annual Dances in the Desert, In Spiritus Christmas Concerts, and outdoor community celebrations. She completed her Bachelors of Science at Northern Arizona University this May and is excited to teach a second year of Summer Intensive at Lake Powell. Dance has always been an integral part of who she is and she wishes to share that same desire and passion for dance with those in the community. We wholeheartedly and lovingly welcome back “one of our own” as guest artist in Contemporary/Modern classes for Summer Intensive at Lake Powell 2017.
